Thank you for visiting. My name is Eric Kjorlien. Here you will find two musical sides of me, renaissance lutenist and guitarist of many genres.

Great news! I'm happy to share that I'll be playing my lute at The Pelican Inn at Muir Beach for lunch on Sundays 1:30 - 3 pm beginning May 20th. This inn is of a 16th century English style and could not be better suited. Hope you can make it.

Last summer I took my lute to Studio D Recording in Sausalito and produced and album of pieces from the 16th century titled "One Summer Day in Marin". The guitarist side of me is a songwriting composer. Once upon a time, I took a rock 'n' roll band to Paradise Studios in Sacramento and released "Potwisha (Eric Kjorlien & Friends)". If you would like to know more, please visit my Guitar page.

Currently, I am primarily a professional lute player, but don't be surprised if down the road you see another Potwisha.
